pinkcable.JPG
This was my first attempt at a sweater. Before I started, I thought the cabling would be the trickiest part, but it was a snap. Don't look too closely at my seems, though!

Cathy Larson, Sheryl's mother's sister, crocheted this sweet sweater. She also made a similar patterned pink afgan which is Becky's favorite blanket.

This is Sheryl's favorite sweater of the bunch. Look at the workmanship! I dream of making a sweater as lovely as the one Grand Aunt Jane made.

Grand Aunt Jane (Sheryl's father's brother's wife) knit this handsome sweater for baby Michael.

I learned how to do lacy knitting with this sweater. It hasn't gotten much use, except as wall decoration.

Grandma Susan Wittig Albert crocheted this fine infant sweater and matching cap. Becky wore it home from the hospital

Grand Aunt Jane also made this darling Three Bears sweater for Becky. It gets a lot of use!

This was my big project for late summer/early autumn 2004. I figured that I was doing OK reading patterns and ready for a bit of a challenge, and this was it. It took a bit longer, and I used better yarn, and both paid off in the end..

This sweater was quick and easy to make. It was one of my very first attempts at knitting. I hadn't figured out how to make decent seams yet.

limegreen.JPG
This lime green and royal blue sweater was a follow up to the bright pink sweater I made in 2002. It was quick and easy, but I learned that it's not worth it to use cheap yarn; it snags easily.

Grandma Susan also made this nifty, colorful vest for Becky. We are always on the watch for matching clothes.

Grandma Susan also made this playful sweater for Becky. (See Becky's homepage photo). It is as sweet as cotton candy.
