Becky in her Halloween costume. Every Thursday at Bartlett Hospital there is a baby play group for babies under the age of one. Sometimes Mommy would take me so that I could check out the other babies, and Mommy could listen to the program. For Halloween, there was a dress up party for all the babies. I think this is Svea or Brigetta's old costume. I LOVE hand-me-downs! |

Becky's first Christmas portrait. Mommy had it in her mind that maybe we could all get dressed up in Christmas clothes and go and take our picture somewhere. We took this one in early November from the north end of Douglas Island, looking back over to the mainland where you can see the Mendenhall Glacier in the background. |

Becky and the flowers. The flowers behind me are remnants from the flowers from Mommy and Daddy's wedding fifteen months earlier. Must be the humidity in the house that kept them alive. Check out my hairdo; when I was born I had this section on the top that was really long and in certain light quite reddish. |

Becky and the pumpkin smoothie. Daddy used to make smoothies all the time. He made them with cream cheese, frozen strawberries, bananas, soy milk, canned peaches. For Halloween, he added canned pumpkin. I would drink it right up, but then fuss later with gas. |

Becky and her attribute blocks. I'm sure that's NOT what they call them in the store, but I didn't mind watching the round ones roll around on my highchair tray. |

Becky and her stacking rings. Here I am with another new toy, my stacking rings. I'm not really good at putting them back on yet, but I'm darn good at taking them all off. |

Becky and her plastic links. These links are so handy. Mommy and Daddy use them to dangle toys above me on my activity mat, or to pull along my wheeled toys. |

Becky on the back of the couch. I'm not allowed on the couch unsupervised, so I can only imagine that I have someone's permission to be pulling at the nice flowers behind the couch in the bay window. |

Becky in her coveralls. Here I am at my daddy's feet in the kitchen. We are both wearing jeans and white socks (but his are much bigger). |

Becky in her mint sweater. Here I am in the third sweater Mommy knit for me. It is a cute, lacy, mint green sweater. Mommy thought it would be really hard to make, but she said it wasn't too hard, because I hadn't been born yet and she could leave her yarn and knitting needles about. |

Becky in her Johnny Jump Up. I have got to be the best jumper in the whole world. The only problem with this contraption (other than getting me in and out of it) was that I grew too big for it before I was ready to stop jumping. I could jump for a long time!! |

Becky with an infectious smile. These still cameras don't always do a good job of capturing me at my best. I often have HUGE smiles on my face, like this one. Must be the company I keep. |

Becky walking on Daddy's feet. I love it when Daddy walks around the house with me on his feet. He marches and sings "Teddy Bears' Picnic". |

Becky listening to "Joshua Slocum". Daddy reads lots of interesting books aloud to me. This one was about a fellows adventures sailing a boat around the world by himself. Daddy would like to get a sailboat someday. |

Becky gets ready for Christmas. Actually, there wasn't much for me to do but wait for the presents to arrive. Mommy was planning on putting the pink roses and bulb on the tree, but instead she just hung most of my smaller toys on the tree instead. The floor was tidier, the tree was very colorful, and Daddy didn't object. |

Becky and Daddy's Ovation. Most days Daddy used to put his guitar down for me to play and sing along. I was getting pretty good, but Daddy stopped doing that when I started standing on his guitar or would teethe on his fret board. |
