rushmore.jpg
Becky at Mount Rushmore. OK. My parents were too cheap to pay for parking to see Mt. Rushmore. They said they had both been there before, and they were bound to be back when I could remember the place (hmmm), so they opted for this side view instead.

Becky meets Great, Great Aunt Mable. We stopped in Dawson Creek, northern British Columbia - start of the Alcan Highway, for a quick visit with Mommy's Great Aunt Mable. Maybe there should be one more "Great" in there; it was hard to figure out how she was related to Mommy's mommy's mommy.
KathleenLake.jpg
Becky gets some protection from the wind. Our last night on the road, we spent the night at Kathleen Lake Camp Ground, in Kluane National Park in the Yukon. We hiked down to the lake, but it was so windy Daddy tucked me into his jacket.
ScampHaines.jpg
Becky in the Scamp. Look closely in the back window of the 13' Scamp trailer and you can see Mommy and me waving out the window. The Scamp and the Trooper were our home away from home for six weeks and 11,000 miles.

Becky and Mommy in the Scamp. Here is a close up shot of the two of us in the Scamp waiting in Haines for the ferry to take us back to Juneau at the end of our road trip. Six weeks and we were still smiling.
HomeAtLast.jpg
Becky and Daddy, finally at home. An 11,000 mile road trip is quite an adventure for such a little baby. By the time we got home, I had spent more than half my life on the road!
Dolly.jpg
Becky and Dolly. I'm just glad to be home and hanging out with Dolly. I don't usually play with dolls (yet), so I think someone proped this cute doll up next to me for this picture. Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kathy have good taste in dollys, though; she is the cutest one around.
puckerup.jpg
Becky getting a kiss from Mommy. What is a baby to do? Adults are kissing you all the time, and what can you do but squirm and whine, or just enjoy the love. Mommy says I'm very kissable.
stares.jpg
Becky stares at the camera. If you look closely, you can see the gunk in my left eye. I had a clogged tear duct that didn't open up until I was six months old.
swing.jpg
Becky in the swing. Here I am being lulled to sleep by a noisy, mechanical swing. That huge contraption took up too much of my play area, so it wasn't set up for long.
Becky'sRoom.jpg
Daddy remodeling Becky's room. I was four months old before Mommy and Daddy got around to converting the guest room to my nursery. It seems they couldn't decide on a color scheme or something like that. As it ended up, my walls are just about the same color as the rest of the house, except they have a yellow, blue, and green border near the top. There are linens to match. They put in wood laminate flooring so that I could do messy things like painting (in the future).
strolling.jpg
Becky and Mommy strolling. Mommy, Daddy and I went for a stroll along the airport dike trail. Mendenhall Glacier is in the background.
highchair.jpg
Becky in her new high chair. Here I am in my new high chair. I had to wait a while to get it; only one store in town sells new high chairs (Fred Meyers). They and the used baby goods stores were completely out for a while. Fortunately, we all liked this one. But I look so tiny in it. Notice the back padding Mommy added to keep me in place.
stares2.jpg
Becky stares at the camera again. I'm just figuring out what this camera thing is all about. Mommy took me up to Wasilla in September for Grandpa Bert's 70th birthday party, and picked up a new, tiny camera on the way home.
toes.jpg
Becky checks out Mommy's toes. Not that I have a foot fetish or anything, but toes are very interesting and and are great for teething babies. Watch out Mommy!
lift.jpg
Daddy lifts Becky. Nothing puts a smile on my face like someone lifting me over them while they are laying down. Sometimes I get so excited I drool all over them. Looks like Daddy is having a great time too.
